" Having had bad back trouble on and off for many years I decided that Pilates would be a good addition to my other exercise routine and by committing to a regular class it would ensure I actually did it!. I wanted to find a SMALL class where individual attention would be available to ensure correct technique was being adhered to at all times. This led me to the Milsom Street studio, a lovely light an airy space to train in. After a couple of one to one sessions with Karen I joined the class and have enjoyed the variety of exercises and use of foam rollers and soft balls to enhance the exercises. The teaching points and prompts/analogies that Karen uses are excellent in helping you understand exactly what an exercise should feel like. As a personal trainer I would recommend attending one to one sessions or group classes with Karen or any of the other teachers at the Milsom Street studio as a great way to strengthen and stretch some of those important muscles that we sometimes don't pay enough attention to."

" After having a complicated pregnancy and labour, ending in an emergency caesarean, I decided to start Pilate's after hearing about the benefits that the exercise has Postnatally. I began with weekly 1 - 1 classes with Karen at my house. Within weeks I became more flexible, toned, my posture improved and I felt more confident about my body.  When Karen began her classes at Chilcompton I moved from 1-1's to a small group class. Karen always manages to make the classes fun yet challenging, varied whilst maintaining a level of continuity, and shows an amazing ability to explain complicated moves in an easy to understand way, whilst giving a variation on the move to anyone with restricted movement. I cannot recommend Karen highly enough as a Pilates teacher. Thanks to her ongoing support, encouragement and fantastic teaching skills I now feel like a better version of myself!! "
